Basically, it helps teachers and educational institutes prevent students from cheating on tests or becoming distracted with any applications other than the test itself. It’s become known as the “gold standard” for securing online exams in classrooms or supervised environments. Exams can be created offline using a familiar Windows environment, or moved from one LMS to another. To install the new extension to a student-owned Chromebook, students will need to use the regular LockDown Browser installation link for UTA (they will NOT be able to search for the app directly from the Chrome web store.)
